This Character Landmark building with significant local and national interest was constructed during the early 1900’s as a police station remaining as such until recently. The property represented one of the 4 ‘P’s on the last remaining village crossroads in the country to have; Post Office, Parish Church, Public House and Post Office. After consulting with planning officers the property was deemed of sufficient local interest to be completely and sympathetically restored and converted to provide family living accommodation, the results are outstanding this is acknowledged by the local authority Building control office nominating the project in the annual awards under the category ‘Best Refurbishment of a property 2014’.
